LA Arts District

Last weekend, I spent 48 hours in Los Angeles. We booked the trip in August (Fogust) in the middle of a stretch of bleak, grey and windy days.

The sunshine was exactly what we needed. I wore a tank top outdoors the first time this year. We drove around, ate, shopped, with no plans and things we had to do.

It was almost my first time in the Arts District. It reminded me a bit of Wynwood Walls in Miami, but with the art more scattered, and less concentrated. We walked around in 90 degree heat and poked our heads into shops, cafes, galleries.

Pictured: Alchemy Works, American Tea Room, Poketo, The Good Liver, salmon toast from Urth Caffe, and random streets in the area.
